Main Toolbar

New

Create a new file. Clicking on the button will create a file of the same type as the active file is there is one. If there is no active file then a .TXT file will be created. If you click on the arrow you will be offered a list of active file types to select the new file from.

Open

Open an existing file. If you click on the arrow you will be presented with a menu similar to File / Open Special.

Save

Save the current file. This option is only available if there is an active file with unsaved changed. If you click on the arrow you will be presented with a menu containing the save, move and export options from the File menu.

SaveAll

Save all of the currently open files.

Find

Opens the Find dialog. See Search and Replace for more information.

Replace

Opens the Replace dialog. See Search and Replace for more information.

Find In Files

Opens the Find In Files dialog. See Search and Replace in Files for more information.

Find Matching Bracket

Search for matching bracket. If the cursor is places immediately before or after any of the bracket characters and then this option is called the cursor will be moved to the point immediately before the matching bracket.

The bracket characters are (), [], {}, and <>.

View Bookmark List

When selected, this option will produce a list of active bookmarks in the file; double-clicking on an item in the list will move the cursor to the relevant place in the file. This option is not available if there are no bookmarks defined in the active file.

Print Preview

Generate a print preview of the active file.

Undo

This option undoes the last action. The number of actions you can undo is limited by the setting in Settings / Program Settings / Editor / Max UNDO Operations.

Redo

This option reapplies any actions undone using the Undo option.
