Real Tabs

Switches between tabs [char(09h)] or required number of spaces [char(20h) when Tab is pressed. Tab Width will determine how much space appears in the editor for each Tab, regardless of this setting.

Smart Tabs

When checked, each TAB press will cause the cursor to follow words from previous line. When the cursor moves past the end of the previous line then TAB adds the normal amount of space, determined by the Tab Width setting.

Group UNDO

Undoing all last changes with same character. E.g. insert char.

Max UNDO operations

Maximum number of UNDO steps. In some special cases, the default value 1024 my not be sufficient (find/replace in long files...)

Tab Width

You can define your own highlighters. If you use one of the bolded highlighters (bold in highlighter list), list of user definition is enabled, last five (5). Now you can clicking on items in list assign highlighter definition to one of three user highlighter position.
In this case are filter name and file masks taken from user highlighter definition. See User highlighters.

Indent Width

Set default indent width. Indent Width means number of spaces when you use Indent block.

Auto Refresh [s]

Refreshing interval for HTML browser as well as files marked as Auto Refreshed (see Window Menu).

Max Line Length

You can set maximum line length. Default value is 1024 chars.
Note: This is rarely used and may be eliminated in future version.

Position of Right Edge

Position of right edge marker. You can simply change the position of the marker by clicking on the ruler. This will dynamically rewrap the screen if Word Wrap is turned on. This setting only applies if 'Wrap (soft) with Right Edge' is checked and 'Word Wrap' is turned on.

Mouse Wheel scroll Lines

Number of lines to scroll for mouse wheel.

Search Results

Specifies cursor position after operations like find, goto line, etc. If set to default, position will not be changed.

Insert Mode Cursor

This sets the cursor type when the editor is in 'insert' mode. Set from one of Vertical Line, Block, Half-block and Horizontal Line.

Overwrite Mode Cursor

This sets the cursor type when the editor is in 'overwrite' mode. Set from one of Vertical Line, Block, Half-block and Horizontal Line.
