BandSelect

This program will calculate the value of a 4 band, 5 band, and 6 band resistor based on the color bands on the resistor with unit convention. It includes high tolerance, low tolerance and tempeture coefficient.

DimAnalysis

This program derives formulas to determine dimensional analysis with the use of the Buckingham Pi Theorem. The results are used in corresponding fluid courses as well as in student projects.

BSC-Post+

BSC-Post+ is a post-processor. A post-processor converts geometry code into formatted commands that the CNC control can read. BSC-Post+ is compatible with output for VAL-CAM with the ".cam" extension.

BSC-Post+ not only converts the current CNC code to operate other machine tools, but also allows the addition of machine tool functions that are not included in the existing CNC code. This will allow engineering technology students to use a variety of CNC milling machines that have recently been, and may at some future time be, installed at Buffalo State College.
