Welcome to my Basement's web page. When my parents moved into this house almost 24 years ago they took it for better or worse. Well the basement was the worst. It was scary place where we kids went to "hang out." There were many rooms, poor lighting, a non-working bathroom, and lots of junk. There was a nice pool table. To bad the perimeter wall left about 2 feet to maneuver a cue stick. Can’t forget that the ceiling was falling down.
Well thought-out the year’s things got better and worse. We put a new carpet; the sewers would over flow with waste water. Due to one nasty flood, one half of the basement was "professional" gutted. They did what they were paid for.
I never cared what it looked like down that but I did crave a few necessities, a bathroom. It started with just a hole in the floor. I installed a floor, a toilet, and sink. O.k. good to go. What more could you need. Tossed the TP on the floor, remodeling done. My mom wasn't to cool with the idea of having a bathroom without walls.

I can’t argue with my mom, so I build some walls. Here I am install insulation (cruel and unusual punishment). Below is a shot with the drywall and door up.

Well, I have to make my new wall look pretty.

Do you like the toilet paper holder? It real fancy. Only thing I got my mom to splurge on, everything else was done dirt cheep.
